June 2019 saw the launch of my BIG SISTER store at The Old Post Office site on St George’s Square, Mevagissey. Lifestyle and homeware products can now be found in BIG SISTER, and my original store, LITTLE SISTER is now solely dedicated to children’s clothing and accessories.
The names, BIG SISTER and LITTLE SISTER, are a nod to the sisterhood I have found amongst women. The women who have fed me, nurtured me, supported me, and helped me.
Women in business who have offered encouragement and advice, female friends who have given emotional support, mature women who have offered insightful sagacity. Women on my global travels who’ve proven to be an inspiration, the unwavering loyalty of female family members.
I should mention that other genders have played an equally important role for which I am eternally grateful, and this isn’t a segregation of the sexes. Anyone is warmly welcomed to the Sisterhood. But my first shops are named in honour of womankind by myself as a woman.
