I don’t know about anyone else, but I get sick of waking up to an inbox burgeoning with emails notifying of slashed prices, special offers, and constant sales alerts. It makes me hit the “unsubscribe” button.
I’m occasionally asked about sales and promotions. My answer is always the same – this is something that I don’t do. I’m afraid that I don’t offer discount codes or promotions, and I’ve never had a sale, nor do I intend to.
In my view, constant reductions undermine consumer confidence. Why would you purchase something that will appear half-price the following week? It’s simply not a fair game for retailers to play, let alone the environmental impact of the vast churn of seasonal products with no longevity. Furthermore, if you are buying at a heavily discounted rate, it calls into question the value of the item in the first place if the seller can afford to reduce it so drastically.
My brand is sold from me, Jenny Aves, directly to my consumers, there are no third parties involved.
